富士山被日本人譽為“聖岳”，是日本國家的象徵，同時為日本第一高峰, 高度為3775米, 面積為90多平方公里, 距東京西南方約80公里, 目前是一座睡火山, 也是世界上最大的活火山之一 

As one of Japan’s “Three Holy Mountains,” Mount Fuji is the highest mountain in Japan standing at 3,776 m (12,388 ft) about 80 kilometers south-west of Tokyo. Mount Fuji, one of the world’s largest active volcanoes, has been dormant since its last eruption in 1707.
