Egyptian Pyramids (Great Sphinx of Giza)
It is believed that pyramids are tombs for pharaohs in the ancient Egypt, most prevalent during the Old Kingdom of Egypt. However, archaeologists have not yet discovered any mummies in any of the pyramids. The base of the pyramid is a square and the four sides are equilateral triangles similar to a Chinese character, “金 (Kim)” meaning “metal, iron, gold.” This is where pyramid gets its Chinese name called “金字塔 (a pagoda in the shape of a Kim character)”. Pyramid is one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.
